This will show you all of your currently open windows. Open Mission Control by swiping up on your touchpad using three or four fingers, or by using the keyboard shortcut control-up.

You can have one app take up every pixel on your Mac, for instance, and thats called Full Screen. You can then quickly switch between them. There are two options to window management on the Mac. It lets you set up multiple desktops, each with their own set of windows. But it's also really useful, once you grasp it. Your Mac’s Dock is typically found at the bottom of your screen, but you can move it to the right or left side of your screen, too. You can add or remove apps and folders by dragging them to and from the Dock. You can change the size, magnification, position, and more. Mission Control is one of those features that most Mac users never use-and, to be fair, it is a little confusing. To customize your Dock on a Mac, go to System Preferences > Dock. You can always change things back if you can't handle it. Don't panic, and try to remember that you hid everything. The first few times you sit back down at your computer, you might be overwhelmed by all of the serious business that fits on your screen at once, and you might also be confused about where your dock and menu bar went. Create a keyboard shortcut to do it: Open keyboard settings (System preferences -> Keyboard).
Remember that you did this! It might be disorienting otherwise. Heres how: Find the name of the menu item you want to create a shortcut for: Click Window in any application and look for a menu item that says 'Move to '. Move your mouse to the top of the screen and it will pop down for you, then disappear when you move the mouse away. Again, the menu bar isn't gone-it's just hidden.
